Flow Meter Solutions

Turbine Flow Meter
High-Speed Accuracy for Clean Liquids and Gases
Turbine flow meters are widely used for measuring the flow of clean, low-viscosity fluids like fuel, oil, and water. The internal rotor spins in proportion to the fluid velocity, enabling high accuracy and repeatability.
Known for their fast response times, turbine meters are ideal for batch processes, dosing systems, and energy applications. They come in various configurations including axial, paddlewheel, and propeller designs depending on the media and installation needs.

Installation Process
Ensure precise and efficient installation of your turbine flow meter by following these essential steps.
Step 1: Select a Proper Location
Choose a horizontal pipe section with a full pipe condition. Avoid locations with vibration or high electromagnetic interference.
Step 2: Ensure Straight Run
Maintain minimum 10D upstream and 5D downstream straight pipe runs to stabilize flow profile for accuracy.
Step 3: Mount the Flow Meter
Install the turbine meter in line with the flow arrow pointing in the correct direction. Avoid tilting the sensor body.
Step 4: Sensor Alignment
Ensure proper centering of the turbine rotor. Misalignment can cause measurement errors or rotor wear.
Step 5: Electrical Connection
Connect signal cables to the transmitter following wiring diagrams. Shielded cables are recommended to prevent noise.
Step 6: Calibration & Start-Up
Power on the device, enter calibration values or K-factor, and verify correct readings through your control system.
